I was born in Oakland, CA and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I earned a BA majoring in Geography from the University of Washington in 2011, and have worked in the GIS industry since 2010. I am currently a GIS Project Manager with ELYON International, working on-site the Bureau of Land Management in Portland. A couple years back I decided to get more involved with my professional community and am now thrilled to be a member of the URISA Vanguard Cabinet of young professionals. While not thinking about GIS I can be found playing bagpipes, mandolin, cooking and eating Indian food, and spending time with my wife Quinn and son Malcolm.
